The Work
We believe that being on the land is nourishing, essential to belonging, and contributes to individual and collective healing. The Familiar Farm meets a unique niche at the intersections of justice, land, and wellness where you can come back to yourself.
In response to COVID-19, there is a greater demand for outdoor spaces, connection to healing, forest schools, and gardening. We want to create and sustain ways for people to be in right relationship with themselves, others, and the land itself. Through our work, we are focusing on access, interconnectedness, and empowerment.
Simply, people are disconnected from nature, from food, from each other. We’re helping change that.
